Bellver Castle in Palma

Bellver Castle, in Gothic style and only 4 km from Palma, was erected by King Jaime II in the 14th century. It stands 112 m above sea level and offers a beautiful city view. It was used as a summer residence by the royal family and it also served as a prison until 1915.

A very interesting trip to contemplate the magnificent city views from its tower and to visit its defensive architecture. In addition, its interior houses a museum where many Roman, Arab and Spanish artifacts are exhibited. It is also worth mentioning that in summer it is a place where several open-air concerts are held.

During the bike tour, you will be able to see the Lonja de Palma, the Auditorium and the Park in the area of Bellver Castle.
