Lighthouses route
Lighthouses route

The Mallorcan coast has 14 lighthouses, whose location allows us to discover unique places on the island. It should be noted that not all of them can be visited, but their location will captivate you with their breathtaking views and cliffs.

Capdepera lighthouse: its construction is the most traditional, built in the mid-19th century. It is located on the edge of several cliffs and therefore, in addition to the strong winds, shipwrecks were very frequent.

Cape Gros Lighthouse: offers spectacular views of Sóller Port, Tramuntana mountains and its Cavall Bernat.

Cape Salines lighthouse: it was the first lighthouse in Spain to be powered by solar panels.

Formentor lighthouse: its light is the highest in all of Mallorca. It was difficult to build due to its rugged surroundings and, due to its complicated access, work was also done on its construction on Sundays and holidays.

Porto Pi lighthouse: it is the 2nd oldest lighthouse in Spain, built in 1300.
